SAFER: Managing Challenging Conversations About Pain and Pain Relief

Managing pain can be a significant focus of life for some of our Mayo Clinic patients. Discussing pain and pain relief can be challenging for clinician, patient, as well as for allied health staff. Conversations may become uncomfortable and even emotionally charged at times. These conversations can bring up feelings of hopelessness and desperation for all involved.

Join a panel of Mayo Clinic experts from the Opioid Stewardship Program and Experience Training, Education and Coaching as they discuss Managing Challenging Conversations About Pain and Pain Relief.
