Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate the pros and cons of using interlaminar epidural steroid injections versus transforaminal epidural steroid injections for cervical and lumbar pain.
- Assess which treatment modality leads to decreased pain and improved functionality in patients based on the proceduralist's use of an interlaminar or transforaminal epidural steroid injections.
- Examine whether contrast spread during the transforaminal epidural steroid injection procedure influences patient-reported pain relief after transforaminal epidural steroid injections.
