DESCRIPTION
This is a weekly and quarterly lecture series that provides an update on a broad array of topics of interest to the palliative medicine provider. We will also include sessions focusing on faculty development, as well as case conferences.
In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Tuesdays from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and Quarterly (varies).
TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Social Workers, Students and Chaplains.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify key clinical areas of palliative medicine
- Recognize the importance of spiritual aspects of care
- Assess cases pertinent to palliative medicine that provide insight into challenging management and therapy
