LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Describe the anatomy of the shoulder
2. Explain the proper range of motion guidelines for the shoulder joint
3. Determine strength testing: Manual Muscle Testing vs. dynamometer
4. Explain the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine 6-week pitching program for youth and high school players
5. Interpret the Delivery Value Systems (DVS) program.
6. Describe techniques for special tests of the shoulder
7. Describe mechanical flaws with throwing mechanics
8. Determine proper exercises and drills for the throwing athlete
