This interactive, case-based course is designed for healthcare professionals aiming to enhance their expertise in diagnosing and managing complex rheumatologic conditions.Topics include interpreting musculoskeletal imaging, applying patient-reported outcome measures in rheumatoid arthritis, and recognizing newly identified risk factors. The course also highlights the latest advances in the treatment of giant cell arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and the evolving role of novel cellular therapies in rheumatology.

By integrating current evidence and practical strategies, this course equips clinicians with the tools needed to navigate diagnostic uncertainty and deliver personalized, effective care for patients with complex rheumatic diseases.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, fellows and allied health professionals involved in rheumatology care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess consensus management strategies of ANCA vasculitis.
  • Develop and integrate management plans for rapidly progressive CTD-Interstitial Lung Disease.
  • Discern the various rash manifestations and mimics in the evaluation of rheumatic disease.
  • Identify alternative approaches and therapeutic agents in the management of crystalline arthritis.
  • Recognize indications for the use of new biologic agents in the treatment of polymyalgia rheumatica.
  • Review and highlight the nuanced clinical features when approaching an undifferentiated inflammatory arthritide.
