• The NFVC worskshop is designed to be a high-yield and practical session in reviewing indications, role, and practice of assessing the microcirculatory in rheumatology practice.
• Hands-on course with practical sessions and small groups using a high-magnification video microscope
• Learn indications and role of nailfold video capillaroscopy in assessing the microcirculation in rheumatology practice
• Interpret microcirculatory pathology
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, fellows and allied health professionals involved in rheumatology care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Highlight indications for nailfold video capillaroscopy in rheumatology practice
- Gain hands-on experience with a video microscope in microcirculatory assessment
- Interpret microcirculatory pathology
- Appreciate microcirculatory pathology findings to the diagnostic and prognostic workup
