DESCRIPTION
This series consists of once monthly journal review (Thursdays) and weekly education lectures (Fridays) that all occur from 12:15 - 1:15 p.m.
The conference is devoted to the continuing medical education of physicians, NPs, PAs, vascular technologists, vascular ultrasound sonographers and vascular nurses caring for the patient with vascular disease.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss indications for thrombolysis vs. standard anticoagulation therapy for lower extremity DVT, based on ATTRACT trial data
- Review provisional footwear options for the insensate foot patient
- Compare MRI vs. CT angiographic imaging modality indications for peripheral arterial disease assessment
- Classify wound dressing types and updates for venous and arterial wounds
- Discuss recent guideline recommendations for abdominal aortic aneurysm management
- Select appropriate testing for varicose veins based on guideline recommendations.
- Discuss options for management of vasculitis based on recent clinical trial information.
- Review recent updates on fibromuscular dysplasia and other rare arteriopathies.
