DESCRIPTION
Grand Rounds occur every Monday at noon - 1 p.m. and are located in Gonda 10-101 Christensen Family Lecture Hall

TARGET AUDIENCE
Grand Rounds are attended by a broad audience including physicians, surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, technologists, research and support personnel with a wide variety of backgrounds that share in the care of patients undergoing transplantation. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Explain how to provide a high level of care to patients needing organ transplants and related services
• Assess the value of recent developments in organ transplantation and translate them to their practice
• Describe the depth and breadth of transplant related research happening at Mayo Clinic and its impact on care here and elsewhere
• Develop new strategies for optimization of therapy in the transplant population
• Explain how to initiate new research directions as a result of collaboration
