DESCRIPTION
This biweekly one-hour meeting providing a case review of complex spine cases in a multi-disciplinary format. During each meeting, attendees from different disciplines bring complex spine cases to review. Both the non-operative and operative treatment options are discussed. The presenting providers then communicate with individual patients. We frequently discuss specific spinal pathologies and relevant literature. We also discuss opportunities for process improvement during multi-disciplinary spine care at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.      

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Biweekly on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Students, and PT/OT.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify how to optimize care for individual patients.
  2. Illustrate awareness of local resources for spine care.
  3. Describe evidence-based spine care.
