DESCRIPTION
Radiation Oncology Didactics (changed from Radiation Oncology Journal Club 8/18/23) is held weekly to improve patient care and provide attendees with better understanding of the ever-changing treatment modalities available in radiation treatment. This course has been an important piece in our residency training program in Radiation Oncology.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for MDs, PhDs, Fellows, Residents, and MD students.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the complexity of a spectrum of cancers and specific treatments for each.
- Identify the evolution of the technical developments in radiation oncology.
- Interpret the literature to assist in patient care.
