DESCRIPTION
In the quarterly hour-long meetings, ALL members of the Radiation Oncology Department will have an opportunity to: (1) review important issues affecting the quality and safety of our practice, (2) identify areas for improvement, (3) present clinical and process improvement outcomes addressing systematic issues, (4) establish best practices, (5) learn from each other’s expertise to improve patient care, and (6) cultivate safety culture and collaboration.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This session was planned to meet the needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, resident fellows, nurses, scientist researcher PhD, social workers, students, allied health professionals, physicists, radiation therapy technicians, dosimetrists, DOS, PASS, and administrative staff.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Review important issues affecting the quality and safety of our practice.
• Identify areas for improvement.
• Present clinical and process improvement outcomes addressing systematic issues.
