Introduction:
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Marques earned his medical degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where he was actively involved in medical education and advocacy through the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA). He completed his psychiatry residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he served as chief resident. He is currently completing a fellowship in Mood Disorders, with a focus on applying emerging evidence to the clinical management of treatment-resistant depression.
