Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Review the pathophysiology and clinical presentation of steroid myopathy.
2. Identify the incidence of SM and its diagnostic challenges.
3. Summarize the current rehabilitation and management strategies.
4. Recall tools to measure patient wellness in functional capacities.
5. Identify patient performances indicative of decline in patient independence and safety.
6. Utilize results of performance of functional measures and questionnaires to determine need for specialty referrals.
