- Examine the impact of joint injection on an important surgical outcome
- Determine how these results may affect practice
- Compare the efficacy of intra-articular injections of low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid and leukocyte-poor platelet-rich plasma in patients with hip osteoarthritis.
- Examine the conversion rate to surgical management between patients undergoing low- molecular weight hyaluronic acid versus platelet-rich plasma injections for hip osteoarthritis.
- Evaluate the differences in WOMAC function scores between patients undergoing low- molecular weight hyaluronic acid versus platelet-rich plasma injections for hip osteoarthritis.
