Event features keynote speakers Dr. Thomas Morgenthaler for 45 minutes and Dr. Christopher Wittich for 45 minutes, 1 hour virtual poster presentations – attended by presenters to answer questions, followed by 15 minute self-directed learning and poster review, followed by 45 minutes of facilitated workshops, followed by 1 hour poster session – attended by the presenters to answer questions, followed by 15 minute award session and subsequent networking.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents/fellows, scientists, researchers, CRNAs and others with an interest in learning about research in SWWI health system.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain how to turn quality improvement activities into scholarly work and activity.
  • Describe navigation, utility, and benefit of use of the Quality Portal.
  • Describe the use and application of Quality Academy Templates.
  • Describe the depth and breadth of ongoing quality improvement and clinical research in the southwest Wisconsin region in order to foster collaboration and mentorship opportunities.
