DESCRIPTION
The MD/NPPA Oncology team will meet monthly to analyze and discuss current EBP research that has been done in the report out of journal article.  The analysis process will incorporate the critical appraisal process to determine the study's reliability, validity, and if it is applicable to our patients.  

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Once per month on the 4th Tuesday from 7:15-8:00 a.m.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and Physicians. 
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Apply effective and efficient database strategies to improve the retrieval of EPB research.
  • Develop a process of critical appraisal to aid in the recognition of research strength and weakness for patient care.
  • Integrate research into daily clinical practice in oncology.
