DESCRIPTION
This series is held monthly Friday, 7-8 a.m. in either the Luther Building, South Auditorium B1017 and Zoom

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

•    Describe methods to orient learners by setting goals and expectations 
•    Explain strategies to establish a positive, safe learning environment
•    Describe ways to orient learners by setting goals and learning objectives 
•    Identify tools to facilitate discussion among learners 
•    Recognize ways to plan and deliver a large group presentation
•    Identify strengths and weaknesses of learner, noting behavioral examples to support observations
•    Describe how to formulate feedback verbally and in writing
•    Explain how to provide effective learner-centered coaching
•    Name tools to create SMART goals and facilitate SMART goal development with learners
•    Identify various leadership styles and apply leadership skills
