Foundations of Critical Care Nursing Online CNE Course: Fluid Concepts

Fluid replacement and fluid resuscitation can be life saving treatments.  This course will review the general concepts of fluid in the body and the treatment of imbalances.

This CNE course is designed for RNs, LPNs, and healthcare professionals providing care for progressive and critical care patients.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify fluid resuscitation treatments
  • Recognize when isotonic, hypertonic or hypotonic fluid would be used in patient treatment
