This is for the CRNA Journal Club and Monday in-service presentations.

This activity:

  • provides accessible on-going educational program for staff CRNAs at Mayo
  • provides an opportunity for updating CRNAs and introducing them to new anesthetic drugs, techniques and case management.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe new anesthetic drugs and techniques that can be used to provide optimal anesthesia.
  • Explain the best evidence based practices to safely manage the anesthesia of complex patient cases.
  • Discuss the latest advances in medicine and subsequent implications to anesthesiology.
