DESCRIPTION
NP/PA Grand Rounds offers monthly lectures and interactive case studies which focus on acute care of the hospitalized patient and training surrounding NP/PA practice. Nurse practitioners and physician assistants can expect to gain practical information that can be readily applied in everyday practice.  
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and clinical nurse specialists that practice in the hospital environment.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Identify inpatient diagnoses, treatment and management of various disease processes.
  • Identify outpatient diagnoses, treatment and management of various disease processes.
  • Develop advancement of APP profession by highlighting autonomy and academic, professional growth.
  • Demonstrate interdisciplinary communications between specialties.
