A CASE OF ACRAL MELANOMA

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the typical presentation, genetics, and risk factors such as trauma and mechanical stress.
 - Apply current melanoma staging criteria to acral melanoma cases and assess prognostic indicators, including tumor thickness, ulceration status, and sentinel lymph node biopsy results.
 - Evaluate the evidence supporting adjuvant immunotherapy in high-risk resected Stage IIB/C melanomas, including the benefits and risks of treatments such as pembrolizumab and nivolumab.
