Bio:
Jessica is a native Arizonan and attended Arizona State University for undergraduate nursing school. Prior to working as a nurse, she became a certified EMT and taught lab sections of Human Anatomy and Physiology at Arizona State. Jessica worked as a bedside nurse in progressive care and medical intensive care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and obtained her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from The Ohio State University. She is interested in pursuing further research in the realms of dyspnea, compassionate ventilator release, and end of life care in neuromuscular disease. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking, being a plant parent, and teaching her husband palliative communication skills to use at work.
