Dr Suneela Vegunta, MD, FACP, NCMP is a board-certified Internist with many years of experience in women’s health. She completed her residency at The Ohio State University and worked for several years as a faculty member. She later worked at the Kansas University Medical center, University of Illinois, Peoria. She served as the Medical Director for a federally qualified health center and as Associate Chief of Staff for community outpatient clinics in Peoria, Illinois. She has been working at the Mayo Clinic, Arizona for the past 13 years. She currently serves as the Vice Chair and division education coordinator.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be able to:
- Identify the biopsychosocial model of sexual difficulties in women.
- Recognize the impact of sexual difficulties on quality of life in women.
- Demonstrate improved understanding of the management options for sexual difficulties in women.
