Learning Objectives: Upon Conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Describe the biology of coronary artery calcification and the strength of evidence for using a Coronary Calcium Score (CAC) for ASCVD risk prediction
- Review the current recommendations for Coronary Calcium (CAC) regarding indications, interpretation, and integration of the results in the global assessment and management of patients
- Discuss some of the most common questions from consultants and patients regarding the management of CAC results
