Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:  

  • Describe the electrophysiologic mechanisms responsible for EEG changes with anesthesia 

  • Identify uses of EEG to guide anesthesia and its effect on outcomes 

  • Explore the limitations in using processed EEG to guide anesthetic management
