Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the clinical findings that distinguish patients with autoimmune encephalitis generally and NMDAR encephalitis specifically.
  • Describe gaps in treatment and outcomes in patients with NMDAR encephalitis.
  • Review the Extinguish Trial for patients with NMDAR encephalitis, including the Mayo Clinic experience.
