"Expert Treatment of Parkinson's Disease is Simpler than You Think"

Learning objectives: 
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify the simplest, least expensive and most efficient Parkinson's disease treatment
• Summarize medication dosage strategy for initiating treatment
• Recognize the changing dynamics of the levodopa response after a few years
• Summarize appropriate strategies for treating later fluctuating levodopa responses
• Identify ways to minimize excessive responses (i.e., dyskinesia)
