Learning objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Summarize the current process for discharge medication education on the inpatient Neurology services at Saint Mary's Hospital
- Recognize that use of a supplemental medication pocket card can improve patients’ understanding of dual antiplatelet therapy and support medication adherence
- Identify opportunities to expand the application of this pocket card, as a simple yet beneficial educational intervention, beyond dual antiplatelet therapy and the Neurology hospital practice
