“Neurological perspectives and gastroenterological motility diseases:  Lessons from the clinical practice”

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the derangements in the development of the enteric nervous system presenting as disease in adulthood
  • Conclude from clinical studies how to evaluate patients with neurological disorders of the gastrointestinal tract
  • Apply physiological measurements, autonomic tests and imaging to diagnose gastrointestinal dysmotility
