DESCRIPTION
These "state-of-the-art" Nephrology lectures are directed at the faculty and fellow level.  Consultants, fellows and visiting professors present a topic over 45 minutes which is intended to be a comprehensive review after which there is a 10-15 minute period for questions.  

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Scientist Researcher PhDs, and Students.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Integrate recent developments in Nephrology and Hypertension to their current practice.
  • Summarize rationale for drug treatment choices for weight-management based on advances in clinical trials.
  • Compare various treatment strategies in Nephrology and Hypertension.   
  • Debate with colleagues best practices and current standard of care.
  • Review basic mechanisms of diseases related to Nephrology and Hypertension.
