LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Define novel techniques for radiation therapy in early stage and locally advanced breast cancers
  • Identify the advantages and limitations of each radiation technology
  • Give examples of proper patient selection for each technique
  • Appraise the data associated with novel techniques (ie proton therapy) to conventional radiation
