LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Identify cancer care inequities facing TGD people
  • Describe potential risks and benefits to gender affirming care in the setting of hormone receptor positive breast cancer.
  • Discuss local and systemic therapy options for the treatment of HR+ breast cancer, in patients on gender affirming therapy. 
  • Discuss ways that cancer care may be improved for TGD individuals.
