LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate the pathophysiology of acute kidney injury (AKI) in cirrhosis
  • Develop an algorithmic approach to differentiate the phenotypes
  • Initiate management of AKI, including understanding the role of pharmacological therapy, renal placement therapy, and the role of liver transplantation
