Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Define a "geriatric syndrome" and recognize two common examples of this phenomenon
- Describe methods to identify frailty in clinic practice, its impact on health outcomes and shared decision-making, and strategies for prevention treatment
- Quickly assess fall risk by history and exam, and develop a pragmatic, evidence-informed approach to risk reduction in older adults
