DESCRIPTION
To review cases and discuss treatment options so attendees understand the care available for fetal anomalies and maternal diseases in pregnancy as part of the Mayo Clinic multidisciplinary program of Destination Medical Center.

MD, NP, nurses, ultrasonographers in OB/GYN, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Peds Neonatology, Peds Cardiology, Peds Surgery, Peds Neurology, Peds Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Radiology

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify appropriate patients for fetal diagnosis/surgery.
  • Review management options; prenatally diagnose and counsel patients on care options for fetal intervention.
  • Identify multidisciplinary resources to assist in the coordination of care.
  • Identify patients with complex maternal conditions potentially impacting obstetrical outcomes.
  • Identify resources to assist in the care of complex patients in a multidisciplinary fashion.
  • Identify relevant modifications to prenatal care.
