This interactive course provides practical updates on common topics and challenges faced with infectious diseases and key information on the application of new developments in the field. Information is delivered by subject matter experts using case-based presentations and in-depth discussions including question and answer sessions geared to increase knowledge, performance, and patient outcomes. Target Audience
This course is relevant for infectious diseases specialists, infectious diseases trainees, internists, pharmacists, hospitalists, and clinical infectious diseases researchers. Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

- Describe updated tuberculosis treatment regimens
- Define key prevention and management strategies for infections in immunosuppressed transplant patients
- Differentiate the appropriate use of oral antibiotics for serious infectious disease syndromes
- Identify evidence-based strategies to prevent and manage hospital-acquired conditions

Parking
