  • Identify the current practice of potassium repletion to certain values in hospitalized patients.
  • Evaluate peer-reviewed literature that pertains to potassium repletion.
  • Examine the evidence - does it pertain to our patients and in what scenarios it may or may not be applicable.
  • Provide feedback on the current practice of repleting potassium to a level of 4.0, and whether this has any bearing on arrhythmias or other outcomes.
