Target Audience

This course is designed for hematologists, oncologists, internal medicine physicians, NPs, PAs and other internists with interest in hematology and medical oncology. Others that may find this course beneficial include physicians needing MOC and those preparing for certification or recertification in hematology and medical oncology.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Choose appropriate molecular tests like next generation sequencing for cancer diagnosis.
  • Integrate into practice the most current treatment options like immuno- or targeted therapy for cancers.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to manage patients with bleeding and/or clotting disorders.
  • Manage and mitigate important acute and long-term toxicities to treatment.
