Title: New Perspectives in the Management of H. pylori Infection

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the impact of rising H. pylori antibiotic resistance on the H. pylori eradication rates of Clarithromycin-based triple vs bismuth-based quadruple therapies.
  • Recognize the factors that influence the efficacy of anti-H. pylori therapies.
  • Review the changing paradigm of using H. pylori susceptibility testing in the management of patients who failed standard first-line treatment regimens.
