Mayo Clinic's 2023 Clinical Reviews course is designed for primary care and internal medicine physicians, and advanced practice providers. The four-day continuing medical education course features updates and management strategies on various diseases. A multidisciplinary faculty representing Mayo Clinic's three primary campuses provide state-of-the-art updates in topics including gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, infectious disease and pharmacology.

Target Audience
This course is designed for family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify current clinical recommendations for the management of patients with osteoporosis
- Summarize patient-centered approaches to the management of diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia
- Describe the most common sleep disorders
- Evaluate options for optimally managing chronic kidney disease in the primary care setting
- Examine strategies to diagnose polymyalgia, giant cell arteritis, and polymyositis in the primary care clinic
- Review the impact of healthcare disparities on health outcomes
- Assess updates in the management of patients with headaches
- Review updates in genetic cancer screening
- Examine techniques for incorporating point-of-care ultrasound into the primary care setting
- Examine strategies to implement antimicrobial stewardship in a primary care setting
