DESCRIPTION
Conferences take place on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 12:00pm - 1:30pm. Exceptions will be noted in the notifications.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Define appropriate management of complex endocrinopathies based on latest treatment guidelines, newer technology where applicable, and newer pharmacotherapy.
- Identify the key strategies to best communicate with patients and establish an effective relationship in a model of long-term care and follow up, or in consultation with limited follow up.
- Practice a smooth transition, and coordination of care for patients with pediatric endocrinopathies transferring under the care of adult endocrinologists at Mayo Clinic Arizona.
- Determine proper acute inpatient management of diabetes mellitus, and related comorbidities.
- Determine proper acute inpatient management of endocrinopathies.
- Improve knowledge base of endocrinologic diseases.
