TITLE: Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest:  Challenges and Changes

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this seminar, the participant will be able to:

1. Recognize the differences between in-hospital and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in terms of patient factors, environment, frequency and outcomes
2. Explain the rationale for various innovative approaches to the management of out of hospital cardiac arrest
3. Apply an understanding of the discussed approach to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest to the management of post-arrest or intra-arrest patients upon arrival to the emergency department
