TITLE: Project Gotham
1) Identify ways to manage overwhelming volumes in an emergency department
2) Describe steps to create multidisciplinary patient care teams during the COVID-19 pandemic
OVERVIEW: A presentation regarding the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Bronx NY as seen through the eyes of a United States Air Force Reserve Respiratory Therapist. From taking care of an overwhelming volume of patients in the Emergency Department to creating a multidisciplinary patient proning team. My personal experience may inspire, provoke self-reflection and provide helpful clinical and personal information on how to manage yourself and your patients in a respiratory pandemic and unsettling times.
