TITLE:  Real World Data to Assess Pain Medication Usage

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Describe patterns of pain medication use and pain resolution among opioid naive patients offered an opioid for acute pain
  2. Identify common gaps in patient knowledge and communication with prescribers about opioid use and safe handling  
  3. Explain the benefits and challenges of using an Health platform for prospective research
