TITLE:  Finding Meaning in Medicine and Our Lives

Burnout rates among health care workers are extraordinarily high. Finding meaning in our lives and at work is crucially important. We will discuss techniques which will allow the audience members to do the following:

  • Create habits around reflection on what about life/work is most meaningful

  • Identify themes in the activities/settings where they derive most meaning

  • Organize sources of meaning with decisions and actions
