LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify causes of myocardial ischemia that can occur in the absence of obstructive coronary artery disease.
  • Define the limitations of routine diagnostic testing for the evaluation of coronary vasomotor disorders.
  • Utilize current guidelines for the evaluation of chest pain syndromes.
  • Recognize potential cases of myocardial ischemia in the absence of coronary artery disease.
