FLA DLMP Surgical Pathology Didactic Lecture Series meets the fourth or fifth Friday of every month. A broad range of relevant and practical topics in anatomic pathology, laboratory medicine, and hematopathology are presented.
The intensity of the clinical work often takes precedence over formal continuing education activities in the MCF DLMP. While one-on-one teaching routinely occurs over the microscope or in a personal office setting, a dedicated forum for systematically presenting current practice guidelines/standards, novel diagnostic methods, and active research activities, interests and opportunities is more ideal for promoting team work and cross-discipline collaboration. The DLMP Surgical Pathology Didactic Lecture Series provides a venue for the consultant staff and fellows, and also provides a valuable opportunity to acquire CME credits to use toward maintenance of medical licensure and board certification.
