Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Asses whether stellate ganglion blocks can be used to alleviate psychiatric ailments.
- Contrast the usual use of stellate ganglion blocks with a new indication beyond one for pain relief.
- Interpret the data and decide whether the stellate ganglion block made a significant impact on psychiatric patient care.
- Describe what hydrodissection is and how it is performed.
- Discuss how hydrodissection may be useful to decrease nerve damage.
- Determine the clinical efficacy of nerve hydrodissection for mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome.
