Learning Objectives - Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate and understanding of the roles of vasopressors and inotropes in patients with shock
  2. Differentiate the pharmacologic properties of vasoactive medications
  3. Analyze relevant literature behind vasoactives used in practice
  4. Apply the appropriate vasoactive medication(s) when given a patient case
  5. Identify adjunct agents for hemodynamic support in patients with hypotension
