DESCRIPTION
These will be held the 3rd Friday of each month from 7-8 am in the North Lobby Conference Room.

This case conference provides opportunities for physicians, NPs, PAs to review cancer patient cases to discuss differences in treatment, diagnosis, staging to determine if changes in process/procedure are warranted, review adherence to guidelines, compare data against Tumor Registry, assess and/or adopt new guidelines related to cancer management.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for healthcare providers primarily from the specialties of: general surgery, radiology, oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, cardiovascular surgery. There are no prerequisites.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss new information affecting cancer management.
  • Discuss multi-modality management of tumor types.
  • Integrate updates to NCCN, ASCO and other guidelines for cancer patients into professional practice.
  • Describe diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer patients.
